  • Day 0: Arrival in Moshi

    Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Moshi. Meet your guide for a briefing and an equipment check, ensuring you’re prepared for the upcoming trek.

  • Day 1: Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

    Your adventure begins at Marangu Gate. The route takes you through lush rainforest, where you’ll encounter tropical wildlife. After a steady climb, you'll reach Mandara Hut, your first stop on the way to the summit.

    Elevation: 1860m/6100ft to 2700m/8858ft

    Distance: 8km/5mi

    Walking Time: 4-5 hours

  • Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut

    On day two, you'll continue through the moorland zone, heading towards Horombo Hut. As you ascend, the vegetation thins, offering beautiful views of the mountain.

  • Day 4: Summit Attempt to Uhuru Peak, then descent to Horombo Hut

    Start your summit attempt in the early hours of the morning. Reach Stella Point for sunrise before continuing to Uhuru Peak. After summiting, descend back to Horombo Hut for a well-deserved rest.

    Elevation: 4700m/15,419ft to 5895m/19,341ft (Uhuru Peak), then descend to 3720m/12,205ft

  • Day 5: Horombo Hut to Mandara Hut
